SHOGO

1980年3月24日生 　福岡県北九州市出身 　A型

175R（イナゴライダー）のボーカリストとして2003年「ハッピーライフ」でメジャーデビュー。

2nd Single「空に唄えば」共に二作連続でオリコン初登場1位という日本ロックバンド史上初の快挙を成し遂げ、NHK紅白歌合戦に出場。
その後も日本武道館公演や47都道府県ツアー、海外公演など精力的に活動を続けるも、2010年175R 無期限の活動休止を発表。

翌年、単身渡英しロンドンにて生活。

帰国後の2014年1月、玉置浩二（安全地帯）と共作したSingle「太陽」でソロデビュー。

豪華なゲスト陣を迎え制作された1st SOLO album「大きな愛の木の下で」をリリースし、ソロとしては初となる全国ツアーを開催。

2016年2月には栄喜 (ex.SIAM SHADE)と共作し、Saxに藤井尚之（ex.The checkers）を迎えたSingle「道標」を配信リリース。

2016年175Rの活動再開を発表。

2018年にはバンド結成20周年を迎え、二枚目となるベストアルバム「ANNIVERSARY 1998-2018」をリリース。
2019年5月これまで書いてきた作品をまとめた自身初の歌詞集「HAPPY LIFE」を発売。

音楽活動と平行して数々の舞台やミュージカルにも出演。

現在フィリピン・セブ島に移住し、日本を行き来しながら様々な活動を行っている。

SHOGO

Born March 24, 1980, from Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, blood type A

Major debut in 2003 with "Happy Life" as the vocalist of 175R (Inago Rider).

Together with their 2nd single "Sora ni utaeba" they achieved the unprecedented feat of being the first Japanese rock band to have two consecutive albums debut at number one on the Japanese music sales charts, and they went on to appear on the famous TV program "NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen," which features Japan's most accomplished artists.

After that, he continued to perform energetically, including performing at the Nippon Budokan, touring all 47 prefectures, and performing overseas, but in 2010, he announced an indefinite hiatus from 175R.

The following year, he moved to the UK alone and lived in London.

After returning to Japan, he made his solo debut in January 2014 with the single "Taiyou", which he co-wrote with Tamaki Koji (Anzenchitai).

He released his first solo album "Okina Ai no Ki no Shita de" (Under the Big Tree of Love), which was produced with a stellar lineup of guests, and held his first national tour as a solo artist.

In February 2016, he released the single "Michishirube," which he co-wrote with Hideki (SIAM SHADE) and featured Takayuki Fujii (ex. The Checkers) on sax.

In 2016, he announced the resumption of 175R activities.

In 2018, he celebrated the 20th anniversary of the band's formation and released his second best album, "ANNIVERSARY 1998-2018."

In May 2019, he released his first collection of lyrics, "HAPPY LIFE," which compiles all the works he has written up to that point.

In parallel with his musical activities, he has also appeared in numerous stage plays and musicals.

He currently lives in Cebu, Philippines, and travels back and forth between Japan and the country to carry out various activities.
